Friends Support our Library in many ways.

WE ARE SEEKING TO FILL OUR CIRCLE OF 100

individuals, organizations, and businesses to contribute $1,000 to kick off our efforts to raise funds for a new addition to our library facility.
Join the Circle of 100, a special group of community supporters leading efforts to build the new Freeport Public Library!
The City of Freeport is one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States.  Plans are underway to expand the City’s resources and services, and the Library is
included in this exciting expansion.

In November 2020, the Freeport City Council approved a location for a new library facility. The new library will have an additional 4,000 square feet and will be
designed to serve residents more efficiently and effectively. The facility will include new collections, upgraded technology, space for literacy and educational
programs, reading rooms for children, interactive space for teens, and much more.

The Friends of the Freeport Public Library re-established itself in July 2019 to support new facility construction, public programs, and to actively engage
residents and businesses in the Library’s expanding role in our growing community.

Today, we are seeking 100 individuals, organizations, and businesses to contribute $1,000 and lead efforts to raise funds for planning, design, and construction of the
new and improved Freeport Public Library. Circle of 100 donors will be recognized in promotions and permanently acknowledged in the newly constructed facility.
